In the local wine estates you can taste the DOC wines from Montecarlo and in the many restaurants in the area you can enjoy our Tuscan cuisine.

During your stay there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy such as trekking, mountain bike, yoga or simply taking long walks, reading in the shade or having a picnic. You can visit our splendid territory, there are numerous hamlets and villages in the area, the coast is close by for a visit to the sea , as well as the most famous art cities being just a short trip away.
Surrounding
Montecarlo is located between Lucca and Florence and is an excellent base to visit the splendid art cities of Tuscany: Lucca (12 km; 25 min), Florence (57 km; 45 min), Pisa (40 km; 40 min).
You can also reach the cities by train, in Altopascio ( 5 minutes by car) there is a train station with direct lines to Florence (1 h), Lucca (10 min) , Pisa (50 min), Viareggo (30 min).
Montecarlo village is 2,3 km from the B&B (5 min by car, 30 min walk).
Closest restaurant /bar/pizzeria is 1,2 km (10 min walk).
